Early 19th century silver sugar tongs

This is a fine pair of early 19th century silver sugar tongs, English.
It is decorated with shell ornaments and the silver is hallmarked with four marks: the maker's mark IK (probably of John Kerschner, a London silversmith specialising in flatware), the date mark (1817), the duty mark and the sterling standard silver mark (lion passant).
Condition: Very good
Length: 15 cm (6 inch).
