18th century iron tobacco box

This is a rare 18th century iron tobacco box, dated 1721, English, probably Birmingham.
It is octagonal in shape with a brass knob on top. The iron is engraved, whereby the sides are still clear, but the engraving on top is very worn. Some remains of engraving are still visible, like the date 1721.
The hinge is particularly beautiful, and the box is marked on the inside (see photo).
For reference, see "Iron at Winterthur", p.334 & 335, nr.166.
Condition: Very good, considering its age.
Length: 8.2 cm (3 1/8 inch).
Width: 7.2 cm (2 7/8 inch).
